The tricky spelling of its name has not stopped BPitch Control to establish itself as one of the top brands for European techno: Founded by superstar DJ and producer Ellen Allien in East Berlin more than a decade ago, the label started out with a constant stream of beautifully designed releases, bridging the gaps between Techno, electro, IDM and pop music. Ever since scoring its first chart hit - TokTok & Soffy O.'s 'Missy Queen's Gonna Die' - the label has consistently gone from strength to strength, managing to establish quite a few of its home-grown artists in the jet set league of electronic music: Modeselektor, Paul Kalkbrenner, Sascha Funke, and of course label wner Ellen Allien herself.

Hailing from Brazil and now residing in Berlin, Dominique Dillon de Bylington's chansons for piano and voice are clearly more folk-led than the usual BPitch output. Immaculately produced with experimental flair, she combines this emotionality with subtle electronics in a genuinely fresh way. Excellent vid too!
