Digitalism has always been the most French-sounding German dance music act, and as if to prove a point it takes their DJ-Kicks mix little over a minute to arrive at a first Daft-Punk-style guitar solo. This is not to say that it hasn't been assembled with love, skill and precision - disco-rave fans should love this.
