DJ Maaco and P-Dog, better known as D.I.E. / Detroit in Effect have been in the electro business since the mid-90s, known in Europe only to a hardcore few through rare appearances of their elusive vinyls, released on their own M.A.P. Records imprint. This changed however when Clone picked up one of their biggest tracks 'The Men You'll Never See' in 1998, getting artists like Adult and I-f to contribute additional tracks for the classic 'The Men You'll Never See EP'. Further collaborations with the Dutch electro scene ensued - co-productions with Alden Tyrell or releases on Frustrated Funk - and to this day Macco and P-Dog keep rocking it, pure Detroit electro style.

Stealthy Detroit electro mainstays led by DJ Maaco appear on their own M.A.P. imprint with the kind of top-grade punishing electro finery you would expect. 'Move Yo Body' commands the dance, 'Break It Down' treading spacey synth-topias with 'Like No Other' and 'Dutch Friends' low-slung cruises. Hell yeah!
