Since being founded in 2004, Wagon Repair has established itself as a cult record label. Brought to life by Mathew Johnson (of Cobblestone Jazz), Konrad Black and Loose Change, Wagon Repair is as far away from the dry, polished productions characterising modern dance music, as you can get. Their vision of what we call house and techno is like looking though a fairground mirror on acid and seeing a much wobblier version staring back. Mike Shannon with his kick you in the face production style, The Mole with his euphoric, aquatic take on things as well as Cobblestone Jazz have all had massive releases on the label, but really, everything here is going to be massive to someone.

Keyboardist of Cobblestone Jazz and The Modern Deep Left Quartet releases his debut long player, showing the range and diversity of his plentiful producer talent. Freely breeding modern jazz with deep grooving house and Latino flavours, this is a strong spirited and refreshing album. Recommended!
