Dakota Suite is the project of talented singer/guitarist Chris Hooson and a varying line-up of contributors, frequently including producer Richard Formby and multi-instrumentalist Jazz Butcher. The group's sound oscillates between neo-classical compositions and elegiac pop ballads, with Hooson's wife Johanna being responsible for the atmospheric black and white photography that adorns Dakota Suite's albums.
