Tel Aviv's DJ Yoav B. first stepped into the limelight with his productions for Dutch cult label Delsin Records, which combined the classic Detroit influences the label is famous for with more organic, stumbling house grooves. His most recent 'Love Dubs EP' further elaborates on this approach and has once again been released by Delsin.

Ellen Allien, A Guy Called Gerald, Historia y Violencia
Whoever predicted techno to be a passing fad some 20 years ago couldn't have been much further from the truth. The demand for straight kickdrums and synthetic basslines is as high as ever, and techno music continues to develop in ways no one could have more...

Yoav B.'s releases might be few and far between, but most certainly worth the wait. 'Higher Love' is a slow-spiralling funk stomper with broken beat allusion that come into full effect on 'Love Dub', which is best described as free-style wonky house. 'Soul Surrender' ends the EP on a reflective note. Great.
