Franki Juncaj a.k.a. DJ 3000 started out as a member of Detroit's Submerge crew and UR's Assault DJ Squad. In 2001 he started Motech Records with the vision of joining Detroit's high-tech funk with the Balkan rhythms of his Albanian heritage.
