In the late 1990s Cursor Miner's first computer based creations came to the attention of esteemed techno funk pioneer Si Begg, who released a number of tracks on his Noodles imprint. At around this time Rob's long time friend Kone-R kicked off his label Uncharted Audio by releasing a Cursor Miner EP 'Thismansadventure'. Cursor's first album 'Explosive Piece of Mind' was released in 2002 on Lo Recordings - a wild mixture of Beck, Bowie and Depeche Mode style songwriting, twisted beats and Autechre style noise excursions, this album bridged the divide between the dancefloor and the messed up innards of Rob Tubb's own mind.

The Album Requires Attention (+Video) was reviewed:The fourth album to emerge from Chichester's Rob Tubb, as typically eccentric and flamboyant as you would expect from this one-man tornado. Stylistically snatching at dubstep, electro, IDM and industrial and landing in a world of absurd twisted pop, it's a difficult album to ignore!
