Romania-born, Berlin-based Cosmin Nicolae started his career with successful dubstep productions for labels such as Tempa and Hessle Audio. With the inclusion of his first name into his moniker Cosmin TRG incorporated more and more influences from dub techno into his sound, consequently making Berlin his new home while recording for Rush Hour and Modeselektor's 50 Weapons imprint.

First new material to emerge since Cosmin's 'Simulat' album last year, Mr TRG returns with this sweet maxi and a slightly new direction. The lush sounds of 'Vertigo' sees a tentative swelling melody saunter over brooding beats and claps, whilst 'Sommer' tinkers with reduced metallic techno textures. Ideal.
