Originally hailing from the island of Terschelling and now residing in the city of Leeuwarden, Boris Bunnik a.k.a. Conforce has become one of the Netherlands' most unique sounding techno artists over the past few years. Ever since his 2007 debut release on Rush Hour, Conforce has been systematically following his vision of deep, hardware-generated dance music, much to the delight of fans of heartfelt and soulful Detroit-style techno sounds.

The EP Dystopian Elements EP was reviewed:
His album forthcoming, Dutchman Boris Bunnik selects a few choice cuts to whet our appetites. Opening with the uneasily spacious 'Luminous', lo-swung brooding perc in 'Desolate Ground' set the scene, whilst 'Lonely Run' pumps a cunning bassline and 'Vacuum' resolves in high-grade ethereal dub techno.
