Chromeo is P-Thugg and Dave 1: best friends since their adolescence, virtuoso musicians, walking hip hop encyclopaedias, and quite possibly one of the most successful Arab/Jew partnership in recorded history. Chromeo started out making beats for hip hop bands such as Shades of Culture, Dubmatique, Sans Pression and Yvon Kreve, but once signed to Tiga's Turbo Recordings label Chromeo became pop stars in their own right. Their most recent endeavour 'DJ KiCKS Re(Mix)' has Chromeo embark on a quest to collect the hottest funk on the planet for one compilation.
