Hailing from Landshut in Southern Germany, Christopher Rau moved to Hamburg some time ago, since it seemed the perfect city for the young producer's enigmatic deep house sound. Releasing his music on the esteemed Smallville label, also as part of collaboration project Bon & Rau, he has further founded the highly promising Dérive imprint.

Following up his excellent debut album 'Asper Clouds' on Hamburg's Smallville, Christopher Rau moves to DJ Koze's Pampa imprint for his next release. Upping the disco factor with sparkling chords in 'Pervading Animal', a touch of acid in 'C F R' and the last track offering a luscious deep cosmic feel.
