Hands-down one of Germany's most popular DJs and a pioneer of the percussive techno style, Chris Liebing started his career back in 1991 in a small club called 'Red Brick' in Giessen, near Frankfurt. At the beginning of 1995 the club had to close down, and Liebing began working for Eye-Q Records in Frankfurt, shortly thereafter becoming a Resident DJ at Sven Väth's Omen club. Joining the Cocoon Agency to take care of his growing booking schedule, Liebing moved on with his production and label work, starting up his own record company CLR in 1999. In 2003 Chris Liebing won the German dance award in the Best National DJ category.
