Caribou is the project of Canadian musician Dan Snaith, who originally recorded as Manitoba, before changing his name to Caribou over a legal dispute. His music, mainly appearing on The Leaf Label combines fragile electronica with outbursts of garage band psychedelia, hinting at the energy of Caribou's live performances, for which Snaith usually takes to the drums. His highly acclaimed latest album 'Swim' is possibly Snaith's most dance-oriented production to date, resembling something like a trippy update to the early Hot Chip sound.

Stunning remix edition of Caribou's recent hit album 'Swim', featuring a wealth of red-hot producers taking on Dan Snaith's psychedelic disco-pop songs, Junior Boys, James Holden, DJ Koze, Motorcity Drum Ensemble, Gold Panda, and Ikonika among them. Excellent.
