After last year's largely ambient 'Small Craft On A Milk Sea' Brian Eno returns with the musically diverse 'Drums Between The Bells', which even might be called disjointed if it weren't for the lyrics by English poet Rick Holland, spoken over synthetic world music, ambient funk and punktronica by various vocalists.

Originating from the same session as 'Drums Between the Bells', Eno's recent collaboration album with the poet Rick Holland, 'Panic of Looking' sonifies Holland's (mainly) spoken word poetry using a range of styles and impressive production tricks, from angelic choirs to noisy loops. Interesting.
