Moving effortlessly through styles from drum and bass to dubstep, London's James Boyle a.k.a. Breakage has proven himself to be one of the most versatile operators in either scene to date. Boyle burst onto the drum and bass scene back in 2000, announcing his arrival with a raucous remix of a hardcore classic,
Nasty Habits' 'Here Come the Drums' on
Reinforced. Following up numerous singles and collaborations with
Equinox and
Threshold, Breakage released his debut album 'This Too Shall Pass' in 2006 and shortly thereafter signed with
Shy FX's
Digital Soundboy Recordings. 2010 saw the release of Breakage's sophomore album, '
Foundation', which featured guest appearances by
Burial,
Roots Manuva, and many others.
