Bryan Hollon a.k.a. Boom Bip started out in Cincinnati's hip hop scene, teaming up with rapper Dose One for his debut album 'Circle' in 1998. following the phenomenal reception of 'Circle', Boom Bip was signed to Warp Records' sub-label Lex, for which he records to this day. His musical scope has much expanded from his hip hop roots, incorporating elements of techno, house, electro and rave. Together with Gruff Rhys from Super Furry Animals he has recently started an equally acclaimed side project called Neon Neon.
