One of the original sample based acts from the heady days when rave crossed into the big time, Bomb The Bass are responsible for one of the era's defining tunes - 'Beat Dis', but their legacy goes way beyond one track. Tim Simenon arguably kick started DJ culture in the UK, giving exposure and credibility to what was until then a bunch of faceless record spinners. With a creatively quiet period over the last 10 or so years, Bomb The Bass have recently returned to the fore with an album of completely non sampled music - 'Future Chaos'.

The Album Back To Light (+Videos) was reviewed:
Tim 'Beat Dis' Simenon gets into his stride once again: 'Back To Light', his second album since his 2008 comeback, was co-produced by Gui Boratto and tries nothing short than to reinvigorate the synth-pop genre. Don't be mistaken: This is no dance floor album, but pure, blissful pop music. Hit!
