Black Van is the new project of Hamburg, Germany, based producers Kris Menace and KoweSix, also known as one half of successful electro pop duo Moonbootica. After Kris applied his remixing skills to LCD Soundsystem's 'North American Scum', the pair was signed to DFA for their debut single 'Yearning', a sweet slice of neo-disco remixed by The Emperor Machine.

'Yearning' is summery neo-disco tune with pleasant piano chords and a breakdown tailored for dance floor ecstasy. Things get grittier on the flip with a excellent remix by The Emperor Machine that adds trippy psychedelics to the original. Great debut.
