Benjamin Brunn is certainly one of the most promising names in electronic music. His productions alongside Move D, such as their brilliant 'Songs From The Beehive' album, have created quite a stir in the deep house community, and his solo works have appeared on renowned underground labels such as Smallville, Workshop, and Essen's excellent ambient imprint Bine.
This EP is featured in Update #070:
Modeselektor, Roman Flügel, Four Tet, Joakim
Modeselektor are back! After four years spent with Moderat and setting up their own label the Berlin pranksters return with their eagerly awaited third album, 'Monkeytown'. Don't just stop reading there however, as September was ripe with many more fantastic more...
A true don of German-bred house music sees the Move D collaborator's latest release continuing where his sublime 'Hello Ammmerika' EP left off - exquisitely procured synths and 707 beats, oozing an effortlessly sweet cosmic groove and of course deep analogue warmth. An absolute pleasure.
