Benga Benga Benga Music Producer (MP3 Downloads) Artist Tempa
Croydon's Beni Uthman, better known as Benga, is an unusual talent, having released his first tracks on the influential Big Apple label at the age of 15. Now in his early 20s, Benga has already become one of the strongest voices within the UK dubstep scene, alongside his school-time friend Skream. His career peaked in 2008 with the release of his album 'Diary Of An Afro Warrior' on Tempa.

Benga has been quiet so far in 2011 but you wouldn't have guessed with this heavy release on Joker's Kapsize. The techno-influenced 'Faithless' leads off featuring Benga's punchy beats, while 'Acid Lie' takes a trip to the 90s albeit with Benga's signature futuristic edge.

Since his genre-defining album, 'Diary Of An Afro Warrior', Benga has been in relative seclusion production-wise. With 'Phaze One', Benga fires his response to the ever-shifting landscape of UK Bass music. Check the video for the B-more scorcher, 'Baltimore Clap'!
