Born in Melbourne, Australia, and living in Reykjavik, Iceland, Ben Frost has been crafting a unique style of electronic music over the past years. His albums like 2007's 'Steel Wound' or 2009 highly acclaimed 'By The Throat' combine dark and brooding textures with traces of slow-motion beats and ambient drones. Threatening as it might seem, Frost's music always has strong human touch, be it through the use of acoustic instruments or processed choirs conveying Frost's ominous compositions.
