It's been over ten years since anticon first blast onto the Los Angeles music scene, paving a way for alternative hip-hop with fresh rhymes and musical influences drawn from indie rock, pop, and experimental music. Run by a collective of eight individuals, the anticon core members include Doseone, why?, Jel, and Odd Nosdam, who work together under a myriad of names like cLOUDDEAD, Themselves, and 13 & God.

Anti-Pop Consortium member Beans releases a top-notch fourth solo album, moving from Warp Records to Anticon. Featuring a diverse rota of guests including Four Tet, Tobacco, Interpol's Sam Fog and TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, stripped bass-driven productions underlay his lyrical talent. Fresh.
