Following collaborations with a number of Toronto's fledgling electronic collectives in the early 90s, Arthur Oskan began a series of live-in-studio recordings under the name Auracle. These initial works caught the attention of local promoters, and with a transportable - and primarily analog - studio setup, he began performing at various downtown parties. As the decade came to a close, Oskan introduced a more aggressive edge to his sound. And after a time-out from playing live, 2001 saw Oskan back on the club circuit, gigging alongside such notables as Misstress Barbara, Adam Jay, Murat and Alan Oldham. In recent years, his productions have graced labels such as Restructured, Beretta Grey, Cratesavers Muzik and Third Ear UK.
