Known as the sonic terrorist of French minimal house, Ark has certainly found his own style, be it as a DJ, producer or live-act. Famously storing his records without any kind of protection sleeve, crackles and pops form an integral part of his DJ sets, which are usually performed with plenty of scratching, cutting and head-banging. His productions are approached in a similar way, with rowdy cut and paste noises adding the special Ark flavour to his tracks.
