Anthony 'Shake' Shakir is often cited as being one of the most underrated producers in the history of Techno. He helped shaping Metroplex Records by taking on the role as A&R Manager as well as recording together with Derrick May and Carl Craig on the label's first releases. He later teamed up with Keith Tucker to form Puzzlebox Records and his own imprint Frictional.

Final set of remixes of Shake's classics. Skudge deliver a Berghain-compatible take on 'The Floorfiller', hinting at the original's funky stabs at best, while MRSK turn ambient masterpiece 'Travellers' into Rob Hood-style techno. Not much of remixes then, but fine tracks in their own right.
