Anstam continues to develop his very own dark and mystical bass music style on his second album, 'Stones & Woods'. Nine varied tracks touch on brooding dub styles, synthetic funk riffs and and organic, cinematic percussion atmospheres that remind us of Shackleton fed through a distortion pedal. The broodier mood has lifted somewhat, 'Intuit's playful woozy synths over kicking stern beats, 'Feed The Pigs' a loose meandering broken ditty and 'Whiskey' a drunken tropical fairground excursion.
