Combat Recordings is a label aimed at releasing fierce electronic dance music drawn from the unstable, creative space between electro, breakbeat and electronica genres to combine their strong points. While ultra-detailed and intricately programmed, all tracks are aggressive DJ weapons and solidly aimed at the dancefloor.

Long-standing Irish electronica project Anodyne has been recently remixed by Autechre and Black Dog, and now surfaces on London's Combat Recordings for a new EP. 'Empires' consists of four timeless tracks of densely orchestrated electro that combine symphonic strings with glitched-up drum rolls. Nice.
