One half of Two Lone Swordsmen, Andrew Weatherall has worn so many different hats in the world of music it's difficult to keep track. While Weatherall is a DJ, a pop star producer, an explorer of minimal techno and its outer limits, and a mad scientist of electronic music experimentation, he is, at the same time, none of these things individually, thus revealing his paradoxical nature of a true artist. As if to confound admirers further, Andrew has also made deep house releases as Lino Square, Rude Solo, and a whole host of yet to be discovered pseudonyms. Starting out during the formative years of the British acid house scene, Weatherall's skills behind the turntables led to remix opportunities and ultimately the chance to produce Primal Scream's 'Screamadelica.' The album has since become a generation defining release for its synthesis of rock and acid house. Shortly after his work with Primal Scream, Weatherall teamed up with Keith Tenniswood to form Two Lone Swordsmen, an interesting blend of lo-fi rock with bits of electronica sprinkled on top adding a nice sheen. 'Glories Yesterday,' off of the album 'Wrong Meeting II,' which was released by Rotters Golf Club, is a great example of their rock/electronica fusion with Weatherall handling vocal duties.
