Alexander Robotnick, alias Maurizio Dami, is an Italian music producer whose song 'Problemes D'Amour' became a global hit in 1983 and forever tied his name to the history of Italo Disco. During the 90s, Maurizio retired from the dance music scene to produce downbeat and world music projects such as Masala, The Third Planet or E.A.S.Y.. Founding his own label Hot Elephant Music in 2002 he returned to electro by popular demand with the album Oh no... Robotnick! and a string of releases and remixes since - the last of them being his aptly titled and much appreciated My La(te)st Album.
