Carpark is a label for the electronic music connoisseur, operating on the fringes of electronica, pop and various other experimental music styles. With artists like Dan Deacon, Takagi Masakatsu or most recently Toro Y Moi, Carpark has long proven itself as a highly collectible label for everyone longing for aural surprises. Started by Todd Hyman in 1999, the label has originally been based in New York, but has moved to Washington in 2005.

Carpark presents the sophomore album of Baltimore's Benny Boeldt a.k.a. Adventure, who translates New Order's recipe of combining contemporary dance music and power pop into the 21st century. Ten intense and emotional songs with plenty of disco and synth pop references. Very much recommended.
