Puzzlebox Records was founded in 1996 by two major figures of Detroit's electronic music scene: Anthony Shakir (a.k.a. Shake) and Keith Tucker (a.k.a. DJ K-1). Shakir left the label to Tucker after its first batch of releases, who has since the established Puzzlebox Records as a flag bearer for classic Detroit electro.
