Dave Huismans (a.k.a. 2562) continues to explore the middle ground between dubstep and deep techno sounds with his A Made Up Sound alias. Warm pads, shuffling beats and deep echoes make 'Demons' another excellent and unique sounding document of the man's brilliance. Check.

Efdemin: "Funny: This one is labelled as dubstep. Might sell better than labelled as 'techno' which I would recommend. Anyway - amazing release from Mr. Huismans, who is a visionary person like the other four picked here. It is always wonderful to break the flow in a DJ set for a while with this abstract groove-monster."
The Hague's techno-meets-dubstep pioneer Dave Huismans a.k.a. 2562 returns to his own imprint as A Made Up Sound: 'Sun Touch' and 'Drain' are excellent futuristic dubstep efforts - sparse, deep, and drone-drenched - while the third track, 'Untitled', shuffles it up Detroit-style. Perfect.
