Always on the run to find the latest beat and the freshest sound, the Drumpoet founders share the same vision and taste when it comes to music, and in a city like Zurich it was just a matter of time before they met and decided to start the Drumpoet Community.
They started exchanging music and dj-ing together and realised that they had a similar style of making, listening & supporting music. Amazed to have found like-minded people, they decided to create a new platform for their music and joined forces to keep Zurich's open-minded music scene alive. Sharing the same love for soul, disco, hip hop, house and detroit as well as electro, they are now aiming for new musical levels, a combination which incorporates all the beloved styles into a mix which they like to call b-boy house & technosoul.
The philosophy of the Drumpoet Community is to create touching, emotional and honest music without trying to follow the latest fashion. It's a collective of people with very distinguished musical tastes. The most important thing is to use this platform to help establish unknown artists and music which moves your soul as well as your body! Expect the unexpected, 'cause it's all about a feeling and mostly about the passion for music!
Drumpoet Community also do club nights featuring people like Âme, Dixon, Henrik Schwarz, Maurice Fulton, Chateau Flight and many others. Their home base is Zurich's sweetest Club - "Zukunft" - where the 3 DJs, Alex Dallas, Ron Shiller and Lexx, push for new musical levels. Always thinking about the future and change, the revolution has just begun.
A movement for those who are not as others!
